so my blue flowered torch is in a cactus succulent soil mix and i have been following this apps watering schedule so idk why i am seeing these mushrooms any idea what i need to do ? new plant mom here so this is new to me

    You’re overwatering it. The soil has to be bone dry in between waterings so you’ll need to check before watering again. Use Planta as a guide but always check first.

      okay that’s what i read overwatering just wanted to double check so new to plants so im learning as i go thanks for the help 🤍

      Unfortunately overwatering succulents can lead to root rot pretty quickly so err on the side of less water! Good luck.

    To add on to what Chrissy said, overwatering can be due to too big of a pot as well. The pot should only be as big as the roots so they can suck up all the water quickly. If the pot is too big, it has too much dirt, so the cactus can’t suck up all water and sits in damp soil all the time.
