🎯🎯 Exacto..
1 j'aimeSansevieria (Snake plants) like to be very root bound. Once they’re as snug in their pot as they like they’ll start to produce pups. I would say that being root bound was not the issue with this plant. But it’s also got enough roots that repotting 1-2” larger than the root ball shouldn’t hurt it. I would investigate watering habits, fertilizer frequency, last time it was repotted, and light conditions. If you’ve already repotted thats fine. It’s going to put energy into root growth to fill out the pot, so don’t be alarmed if it doesn’t put out new growth for a while. While Sansevieria can handle low light conditions, they thrive in high light. They also are extremely drought tolerant (prefer to completely dry out, and then some). A big mistake is people having them in low light areas and then watering too often. For reference, my Sansevieria (of similar size to yours in the photo) is in a north window (very low light) and I water it every 2-3 months.
1 j'aimeThis is the first time I heard somebody call (a commonly known snake plant) a mother-in-law‘s tongue, like I’ll use its other name, (mother-in-law’s tongue) as a fun fact. I love “mother-in-law‘s tongues”💚
