is there any way i can keep a banana plant inside?? this is my second one ive had in the same spot but ive added a grow light since the first one. it seems to be doing the same thing tho, it only keeps three leaves the same way alocasias do, and every time i new leaf comes an old one dies. but the entire time most leave have some yellowing with browning the same way it looks with root rot (around the edges) but also random big spots on the leaves as well. i know it has pest as well so that is definitely a problem but honestly my plants usually have pests and don’t die. I live in canada so putting it outside in the ground isn’t an option. Any help is wanted thanks!!

Banana plants can live inside, just need lots of light from all directions.

I struggle with mine. My lessons learned so far: they are heavy feeders, I use liquid fertilizer 1/2 strength every water 12-14 days. Humidifier, no misting. I've become super protective of the "well" area, keeping it dry, or free from other irritations (dirt, insecticide...) I don't remove damaged leaves unless over 60% damaged, instead I trim away the brown edges. It's probably 3 ft from a east window. Currently, 6 leaves, the most so far. It looks rough, but it'll get there.
