My paddle plant is heavy and tilting! Just this morning she fell all the way over 😭 I packed in some new, damp, soil around the base but it wasn’t enough because she’s got new growth and I couldn’t cover her babies! I had to lean her against a pillar to stand up, and then I noticed she has a whole stalk in the bottom growing horizontally! Is it time to repot? How do I do that without hurting her? I fear I wiped off some of her protective layer today. šŸ™šŸ» Please help

this is just what they do 🤷 more light will help with leaf spacing and stability, but this is their style. they’ll send out a bloom and then little plantlets, and then the main plant dies off and the cycle continues

She’s been in partial sun for a while but we have dreadfully hot days 🄵 I noticed some sun burning on some of the leaves though. Think it’s okay to give her direct light?

2/2 and realistically there only like 6 inches of dirt on this big pot. I just let her keep growing?

you said there are little babies in there, right? it sounds like it’s doing well! it IS a deep pot and they’re pretty low in there — if you took it out and added more soil to raise it up that might help. you can always add a stake too

Okay I think I might do that then. I’ll deepen the soil and add a stake. Thank you!
