Hey guys! I recently got a rosemary plant, wanting to start a little herb garden. I usually keep carnivorous plants, begonias, and other frail princesses. I highly suspect I might have over watered this rosemary. Its become soggy and the ends are curly. Is there anything I can do? Or is she a lost cause?

Check the roots as soon as you can if theyre brown and mushy chop them off with CLEAN snips or scissors then if you can replant in dryer soil and leave it to dry for a few days maybe a week before re watering. The top stems might yellow as a symptom to being overwatered but aslong as the roots are healthy it should bounce back. (I overwater my rose my bf got me for my birthday and i didn’t check it quick enough and shes sadly gone now i tried everything then the roots 🤦‍♀️😭 so definitely check your little baby soon as the longer you leave it the rot will spread)

Rosemary is a lot like a cactus and really likes to get dry. Before you water it I would mist it to see if it was just too hot outside. However when you water it soak the soil and let it get dry again. For now if you think you over watered it you can tip the pot on the side to drain out any excess water it got.
