Hello all! I recently bought this monstera about a week ago, the new growth for some reason has some brownish black spotting on it, I don’t know what’s happening. I don’t think I am overwatering. Any idea what’s going on?

Its hard to tell if you just got the plant. It could be a few things... mechanical 'scarring' from to little humidity when unfurling. Or it could be a pest issue. Or it could be a root issue.
2 Me gustadidn’t loosen up the root ball that much because I was scared I’ll remove too many roots and shock the plant, no signs of pests yet! I might have to make my environment a bit more humid!
1 me gustaI would let it unfurl. Continue to mist the new leaf. I would allow the next leaf to emerge before cutting off the damaged leaf since the plant is still adjusting to its new environment.
2 Me gustaI’ve noticed some of my other plants seem like they are ‘stuck’ I have new leaves on some but it seems they are taking longer to unfurl. Will misting the new growth help with that?
1 me gustaIt does. When i see new leaves, especially on the cataphyll problem children. I mist 1x am and pm
