I got a string of bananas plant a few months ago. When a cold front hit at the beginning if January I covered her up because I couldnt bring her inside (not alot of space and my cats always try to eat my plants) Half of her is fine the other is crispy the in the middle of the sections there's some lines where its crispy to start then turns healthy or the complete 180 of that. What can I do to help her??

i think your best chance is chopping & propping. cut off everything dead at the base. if the stem is dead and then turns healthy, trim the healthy part and propagate. it's going to be bald for a while i think, but this is definitely savable.

I've never actually propagated anything that wasn't already multiplying and I just had to move to different pots. What's the best way for me to do so??

cut it, let it callous for a day or so, and stick it in water. change water weekly to avoid rot. once the roots are ~3 inches long, put in soil
