That's a Ficus ginseng! Great plant but can be fussy. I can't predict his chance of survival (barely any leaves left, which he needs to photosynthesize so he can grow NEW leaves) but you'd be surprised how hardy plants can be. That growth at the bottom right looks promising!

My advice: be careful about overwatering. Ficus ginseng need to be watered when the top 1 in of soil is dry. If you remember from science class, photosynthesis is a chemical reaction that can only work if you have water, CO2, and chlorophyll (i.e. the green parts of the plant that can absorb light energy. This can also include stems for some plants!). Right now, your plant has very little "green" to collect that light energy, so this is his scarcest resource. If you're providing too much water, but there is no light energy to use, then the water has nowhere to go and stays in the soil. And before you stick your plant in direct sunlight for maximum light absorption, remember that plants have different light tolerances. Sticking a low light plant in direct sunlight will cause the leaves to sunburn because they're not genetically fit to receive that much sun at once. Bright indirect is recommended, as All_things_plants says. Good luck 😉👍🏻

Also here is a pic of my Ginseng! He shed like half his leaves over winter (still not sure why), but I was surprised to see him push out new buds from his woody stems! Thought there was no hope for the branches without any leaves, but it looks like he's enjoying his current environment and making up for that temper tantrum he had, haha :)

Thank you !!! I do have some buds on it and I have it under a grow light. I’m just trying to save it for a friend but she did some damage so hopefully it will be okay.
