I’d put it back in the original pot actually! Just get the soil all off by massaging it and repot with new chunky soil mix or cactus soil mix. After that, drench it with water- letting it pool up and then drain completely, pool-drain, pool-drain. Let all the dripping water come to a stop and let it dry out completely and then submerge it under water for 20 minutes for the next watering.

I agree with Jules on this one. And zebra plants can’t tolerate direct sun, mine actually do best in a bright room but not in the window. Also as with all plants , Leaves will dry up.

I disagree. This is a succulent which is drought tolerant and likes minimal water… it requires a “gritty” well draining cactus mix not soil. The discoloration in the leaves indicate overwatering. Zebra plants tend to turn red when overwatered and judging by the look of that soil/root ball….

it's actually been ain an empty room and hasnt been watered in a long while so hopefully a little water will work.

Mine looks the same and i water when planta tells me too. It might not be getting enough light. Thats what I'm thinking is wrong with yours too. Just take all the bad leave things off and put it in a succulent soil. Make sure it gets alot of light.

Mine sits in a south facing window and I let it get bone dry before watering. I've had it for about a year and it seems to be happy.

When I do water, I let it soak it up for about 5 minutes.
