Definitely a type of fungus, thought I’m not sure what kind
2 Mi piaceWhat shall I do? I was told to isolate the plant. But, should I just put a new soil?
1 mi piaceI think putting it in new soil would be best, you can also spray the roots with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water to disinfect any remaining soil. Cinnamon is a natural fungicide, so I would recommend sprinkling some on top of the new soil as well just to be sure

2 Mi piaceOf course! Glad I could help :)
1 mi piaceDefinitely fungus 😫 Can you rinse off the roots and transfer it to something like leca?
1 mi piaceI think I will do that.. Thank you
1 mi piaceGood luck! Keep us posted!
1 mi piaceif you haven’t already repotted, i suggest spraying the roots with a hydrogen peroxide mixture (1 part peroxide to 4 parts water) this helps kill any fungus or bacteria on the roots so in the new soil, it doesn’t grow back from there.
2 Mi piaceYou should address the cause of the fungal growth. It could be the soil is not getting dry enough. The soil is too deep in the pot. It may be the camera angle. The top of the soil should be closer to the rim. It may not be getting enough air flow to dry the soil when it’s low in the pot. Fungus needs moist soil to keep growing. You may need to use a smaller/shorter pot.

i’d just scoop off the top layer and sprinkle a little cinnamon. bottom water until you can figure out your moisture levels—let it soak up what it needs.
