Uh I dunked my anthurium in water and washed all its leaves intensely to get rid of spider mites but its leaves started dying and the last one has an infection :( should I keep the last leaf in hopes it will get sunlight and make new leaves or is it basically dead already?

Do you have a picture of the infected leaf?

Not right now I’m trying to free my storages. I can describe it to u tho. It’s green, a light green but a pretty normal shade. The part of the stem connecting to the leaf is bent over fully (although it isn’t broken) it’s floppy and the leaf is slightly curled up. Near the edge is a yellow spot with a very small brown pinprick. The base part of stem like down to the dirt has some white stuff on it.

I would recommend spraying the leaves with castilesoap/water mix as it’ll kill the kites. Treat it a few times over the next couple weeks. Leave any mostly green leaves on it u til they’re too sickly then chop them off so it can focus on new growth and recovery

You can always clip off an infected portion of a leaf with sterile shears, to try and keep it from spreading. And the good portion of the leaf allows for photosynthesis

Agreed. Probably the best way to stop the infection and quickest for new growth

Ok, thanks! Should I do anything about the white powder on the base? Idk if it’s mildew or if it’s normal I think I have enough storage freed I’ll send you a picture in a second

The white stuff is usually mold or fungi, if it's not pest related, like a scale. Since you said there's an infection in the leaf, treating with fungicide (depending on brand will also kill mold) it should help both things.
