HELP! I got this Jade plant from my friend and her house was around 65 degrees. It has not liked my house(around 75degrees) and was about 3x as voluminous when I first got it. Since then it has been dropping good leaves and yellowing ones. I’ve given it different amounts of light moving it around my house too. Please help! He’s dyingggg!! 😭😭 what should I do??

Is he typically sitting in water like in these pictures? There might be a root rot situation since jade plants are succulents and like fully drying out.

I just watered him a day or two ago. That dries up within the next three days usually. And I’m moving to a three week watering schedule. I could try to repot and see if there’s root rot.

I wouldn’t let it sit in water for more than an hour at a time. Succulents are way more sensitive than regular plants to sitting in water.

It’s overwatered. Don’t let it sit in water. šŸ˜ž

Agree it’s overwatered. That saucer should be dumped after watering. That is probably the issue. Soil should be dry between waterings. Leaves may look a little wrinkly too. And it needs lots of light. Morning sun would be great.

When watering, think about how they get water in the wild. They’re in a very dry environment and then get a big rainstorm (water thoroughly) with water that drains away quickly in the sandy soil. Good luck! ā˜ŗļø
