Not necessarily a problem , but this is my maranta leuconeura (prayer plant). It’s been doing great and the other day I noticed it had this little flower on it. Anybody know what this could mean, or am I just the chosen one?

I can’t even get my Peace plant to flower, and that seems pretty basic stuff.

Yay congrats! lol definitely the chosen one 😂
いいね 1件Plants flower due to lower light from the winter hours. Even the slightest change can signal to the plant that it needs to find a way to keep living. Don’t take that as a bad sign. Lower light simply signals to the plant that they may not be getting enough light to live through to the next summer and they should find a way to reproduce. That commonly means it’s time for the plant to flower and produce seeds. Depending on the plant (some succulents, I’m aware of, will die immediately after flowering) they may live through this every year and may need the lower light and colder temperature to condone the seeds turning into plants and sprouting.
いいね 1件Anyone know about curling leaves? Probably humidity? I’ve been waiting for my humidifier to come in since my last one broke.
