hello! i got this fittonia cutting from a plant swap about a month ago and it’s been in water. it has these weird white spots that won’t come off and the leaves are starting to turn yellow and feel crispier, i moved it to a new spot in case it was getting burned by the sun. i’ve never had one of these before, what could be wrong/what should i do? :(

    It’s powdery mildew. Here’s some quick lookup treatment thoughts…

    I also swear by cinnamon tea. Brew a couple sticks in some boiling water, strain, let cool and it’s ready for use. I do the peroxide formula when I pot and introduce any new plant to my collection.

    This plant needs a lot of light and humidity. Here’s a pic of my set up…. They have a grow light over them and a mini humidifier on the table they sit on.
