Hi everyone! How do you treat plants that are getting a lot of those tiny tiny white bugs/mites (I don't even know what they are)? They are now getting on the stem as well 😭 I tried diluted alcohol rubbing, but haven't seen any results yet. Please help!

Those are mealy bugs ! The rubbing alcohol is good, you could also try neem oil. Neem oil smells funky, but it’ll do the trick if u dilute it with water. Make sure the solution isn’t so thick so it dosent gunk up the leaves. She looks like a very large monstera… do you have any large container you could fill with water? If you could leave the whole plant submerged in water for an hour it would drown all the bugs and your plant will be ok! Don’t do it in ur bathtub the dirt can clog ur drain If it spills. Good luck!!

I use a diy pest spray recipe from TikTok- it’s 2 cups water, 2 tbs neem oil, 1 tbs peppermint castile soap, and 1 tsp isopropyl alcohol. I spray it all over the plant (front AND back of the leaves) and then wipe it away and it works super well! Repeat as needed. It’s super affordable, effective, and the peppermint soap kinda cuts the stink of the neem oil so that’s a win!
