Wanna be Plant Lady
My outdoor Lantana has developed a leaf condition where the leaves turn light and then brown and fall off. I don’t see any evidence of bugs on the leaves. Anyone have any suggestions as to what this may be?

Upon further research, I believe I am dealing with a Lantana Lace Bug infestation. The UGA site recommended heavy pruning with complete leaf disposal, not composting, and the use of an insecticidal soap or a horticultural oil. Due to the attractiveness of Lantana to pollinators, chemical insecticides should be used only in extreme situations and with extreme caution. Hope this helps someone out there!

GeorgieI have the same situation in my garden bed. I’ve been fighting them off with a mixture of neem oil, alcohol and dish soap. But it’s an uphill battle and sometimes I feel like just pulling them off the ground 🤦🏻♀️ I’ll probably trim them back when it gets colder in a month or so.
