Legged means it’s time to propagate. What kind of plant is this?.
0 Me gustaHi there, legginess happens when the plant is reaching for light, so use this as a sign the light in that spot is insufficient for big lovely leaves and short intermodal spaces. A grow light in that part of your house could help. I’m not an expert in marantas but would be looking at what’s going on at the roots. Perhaps watering too frequently
0 Me gustaMy marantas were getting crispy edges like this, and it's got better since I started to water them with dechlorinated water. I used a couple of drops of fish tank dechlorinator in my watering can. I've also found they like quite a humid atmosphere. 😁
0 Me gustaIt’s def important to used distilled water, but also up that humidity. I raised Calatheas when I was out East. Once the humidity was raised the leaves stopped turning crispy and they flowered! I also gave them distilled water (leave H2O sitting for a few days before watering). Misted them once a day and also occasionally let them enjoy shower humidity. Gave them bright, indirect light all day and watered once the soil was about an inch dry on the top. They like being wet in the soil but not waterlogged. I like damp-dry soil before I water. I always did top watering but I wanted to try bottom filling too.
