Hi guys, purchased this beautiful Dieffenbachia (Dumb Cane) and notices this on it’s edges :( it feels a bit crispy. I watered it once with distilled water because i read it could be build up of minerals. I looked for signs of thrips i didnt see any i use neem oil spray on the leaves and the base of the plant just in case. Should i cut the crispy edges with a scissors ?

You can trim or cut the entire leaf if you don’t like the look of it. Since it’s browning on the top of the leaf, I would say too low of humidity. It maybe a good idea to fill in the missing info on this plant’s profile. It will help avoid overwatering and underwatering in the future as Planta makes your personalized schedule.

If you spray with neem oil, I recommend keeping it farther from a light source until it dries. The oil can cause the sun/grow light to 🔥 the leaves.
