Hello!! My Button Fern is not doing well. Can someone help me out. Should I take it out of the plastic and plant it in the Ceramic pot? What can I do to fix her?

I think it would be a good move to take out of plastic, it may be struggling from how air tight that material is if there’s no drainage and not very breathable. Thin plastic can also emit fumes if in the sunlight often and could be effected that way. A terracotta pot might be beneficial:)
1 LikeI respectfully disagree that you should switch to terracotta unless you want to be watering much more frequently. Ferns prefer moist soil and terracotta will wick any moisture from the soil. I keep my succulents and cacti related in terracotta, the rest are in plastic and cache pots if I have one that fits. While yes plastics can leach out due to prolonged sun exposure, I believe it would have to be BAKING outside and full sun exposure, our plants are ok in their plastic pots 🙂 Ferns are so finicky - they’ll grow out of a rock crevasse no problem, but the moment we provide all they need and they mess with us 🤪 I don’t have a button fern but yours looks pretty healthy to me, you can trim off the dried fronds. I have a maiden hair fern which is on 4 weeks at home and hasn’t died yet 🤞🏻
