What can you tell me about this critter; is it harmful… beneficial? I found four in just one small shovel full of dirt. If they are harmful, what would you suggest I do? TIA. 😊💚🪴

Greenhouse millipede. They eat decaying plant matter. They aren’t a huge concern but they will eat roots if it is an infestation.

Could you describe what an infestation is? Would the four I saw in a small shovel of dirt equal an infestation, or not? TIA. 😊💚🪴
