I loved this plant when it was smaller but it’s grown so much, and looks horrible now ): it’s so viney and weird looking. I’m going to trim most of it and start over. I’ll probably put propagations back into it to make it fuller too. Any suggestions for this time around? (This is a lilac tradescantia)

Tradescantia plants tend to do that. Propagating and replanting into the mother plant is a good idea. I saved mine from death by propagating. It’s starting to look better, but not full yet. I’m about to snip a few more trails to propagate…and I have two propagations to plant!

If the length gets too much again, they look a lot prettier as hanging plants! Then it looks more intentional than overgrown.
