Hi everyone! I just joined today after buying a pothos (not pictured). I had a couple of work friends gift me plants (pictured) when I left in October. I feel like they are looking a little sad 😕 the succulent has looked this droopy since November-ish but it keeps growing upward. Some leaves (?) have shriveled up, and I just pick them off. Very very new to caring for plants. I want these to continue to live and thrive and be able to apply new knowledge to this pothos. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hmm. I don’t see a pothos in either of your photos. You do have a spider plant (chlorophytum). And not sure what kind of sedum/succulent that is. I’m not much help on the spider plant since I don’t have one. But I’m sure someone else here will help you out. Good luck and have fun with your plants!

Thank you! Sorry Pothos not pictured, he’s still looking good, he’s only been in my house for 12 hours lol

Looks like your spider plant has babies, which I think is a good sign! I’m not great with spider plants for some reason though 😅

Your succulent is reaching for light! That leggy growth is called etiolation. However typically if you’d like specific advice, it helps if you post details about how often you water your plants, what kind of light they get, etc.!

The succulent needs more light, most of these plants you mentioned like good light, you may need to get a bright grow light. Slowly upping the time it's on. The spider plant looks like it may need some more humidity along with more light. Sansi has some easy puck lights that work well for shelves

The succulent needs wayyy more light. The Spiderplant looks fine. Pothos are super forgiving and easy to grow. There are so many if different kinds of Pothos and they are a good beginners plant.

The spider plant does need more of something. The leaves do naturally droop but not that much. With mine it usually happens when I let them dry out too much, but more light and humidity are also def possibilities.
