Is this a burn or a fungus? Recently moved out of a NW window (home for a year) to low natural light & plant lights. It was about 12” from the lights, now about 24”. Roots, growth all are solid and appear healthy. Two spots, two leaves. This is on the whitest sections of each of the leaves
Not sure about yours or my issue with Herman! This is the first bit of drama he’s had since I got him a month ago! Someone said it’s normal for the white parts to go this way more easily…
Mikel is correct. Highly variegated plants often will develop brown areas in the white parts of the leaves. I use a silicone suppplement to help prevent that from happening.
2 Mi piace Ok. I’ve had her for over 3 years and this is the first time I’ve had this issue (other than the time an air root found a pool of water and molded) I’ll keep an eye on it thanks!
0 Mi piace It usually appears after some kind of stress to the plant. Can be as simple as a missed watering, change of location, whatever.

It’s normal , it looks like old overwatering residue but on my variegated plants it’s very common
1 mi piace Since it’s warmed up I have been increasing the watering schedule I’ll back off it a little.
