Hi everyone. I am looking for some help. I have a plant that is sick. I over watered it I think. The question is should I clip the damaged leaf or leave it? Thanks in advance. Norm

Over watering causes the roots to rotten and leads to the leaves dying off. Clip off by the damaged leaf and, more importantly, remove the damaged roots. Plus, disinfectant the remaining roots, the container, cutting tools and hands with hydrogen peroxide to kill off bacteria caused by the roots or the plant will continue to die off. Replace all of the soil. 🪴🍀

1 LikeEnsure the pot has drainage holes. Hoyas roots hate sitting in standing water and slow drying soil. Use a chunky mix soil for epiphytes containing lots of perlite, coconut husks and small orchid bark chips. My photos show different mixes of chunky potting soil from different sellers. They all quickly drain and provide lots of air pockets. There is no pest moss that holds excess water.
2 LikesI will repot once I get my new soil in. Do you just mist with hydrogen peroxide in a diluted solution?
1 LikeMy first Lisa Australis died this way :( Its leaves were browning like yours and after some time it lost all the leaves so I couldn't even propagate it. I didn't change soil though, I checked it after the plant died and the bottom part was pretty wet even though there were drainage holes. So don't put off soil changing. I'm trying my second Lisa now, I still can't figure out how to take care of it x)
