My plant is growing wayyy to long, what do I do? Is there a way of cutting it and putting it back into the soil?

Absolutely, cut it just below a node and then trim the stem that you've cut off to just above a node. You can plan any portion of that stem as long as you have one note in the ground and one leaf above the ground. Using a little rooting hormone is beneficial.

What do you mean trim the stem to above the node?

You can cut it at the nodes and put it back in soil! Idk if I’d suggest back into the current pot because new cuttings need more water and you could end up overwatering the mother plant. I suggest rooting hormone

      Above or below the node?

It depends on the part of the stem you’re trying to propagate. I hope this (poorly) self made diagram helps lol

Agree with everything shared above! Propagating these is pretty easy. I’ve had mixed success planting it back into the soil right away but you can also put the cutting i water in front of a window. After a few weeks it’ll grow roots and you can add it back into the pot. Just another option!

It’s growing long with larger gaps between the leaf nodes from searching for water or light. It doesn’t look dry. It may need more intense light and need more hours of light per day. The vine shown is in very low light below the sill. Cut off the lanky vine and propagate. Get it 12 hours a day under a grow light or at least 8 hours minimum in a south or west window with light filtered through sheer curtains. It will grow bigger leaves with more light.
