Are you giving it rain or distilled water?

0 gillningarI do not know how you'd go about treating root rot for a carnivorous plant. But for the typical house plant hydrogen peroxide does wonders!

0 gillningarI'm not sure about carnivorous plants, they do tend to be sensitive, but in general, you'd remove the rotten roots as you've already done, replace the soil entirely, and treat with a fungicide. You might look up what fungicides are recommended for flytraps, but hydrogen peroxide should work. Other than that, tend to the plant as normal. For any future issues, you might get some orchid pots in various sizes; since they're clear, they can let you monitor the roots during recovery
