    What type of plant is it? And you should probably clean out all the dead/really dying leaves

    It looks like theres some pest damage. But Considering its the bottom leaves, this may need a repot. The bottom leaves yellowing usually indicates the older roots are touching water too long in the bottom of the pot

      there was an infestation of mealy bugs last spring, but i treated them and they have gone away as far as i can tell. do you think there’s a new pest?

      I just meant the divets that were present on the yellowing bottom leaves. But if they've been there since before, that explains them.
