Hi, my friends gifted me this flamingo Lily a few weeks ago and it’s not doing too well. Can anyone give me any care tips please? Am I best off removing the damaged leaves? It’s recently got a couple of new leaves so I’m hoping I can save it 🤞 Thanks!

It looks overwatered. Fungus gnats basking in the wet soil is supported by excess water. The larvae eats roots and slowly kills off the plants. Let the soil dry before watering. Ensure there is no standing water at the bottom of the white pot. Treat the larvae by mixing Mosquito Bits with water and using it every time you water. Mosquito Bits uses a natural bacteria to kill the larvae of pests in the soil including mealybugs and others. You won’t have issues with fungus gnats. I have over 140 plants. I carry home fungus gnats in many new plants. I water with Mosquito Bits and have no need to use yellow sticky or other traps. Treat all the plants or the gnats just move around. Ensure the plant has good air circulation to help faster dry the soil. 🍀🪴

Thanks for the advice! 😊 I think I was too concerned about under-watering, are they similar to philodendrons where they can try out totally between waters?
