My ficus has been struggling a lot lately. The trunk shrunk way down, so I repotted it. But ever since, the trunks haven’t been filling out and it’s losing leaves AND growing new leaves at the same time 🥲 what am I doing wrong??

Soil is rocks, sandy/succulent soil, then just a standard topsoil. Light: about 4 ft from a east facing window

My ficus looked similar for months! How often are you watering? What kind of sun is it getting? I started watering every couple days and moved to a sunnier location and her trunk is less shrunk and some new leaves coming in. Misting and a pebble tray has also seemed to help.

I’ve been watering at least once a week, and it’s on a table near an east facing window. Will try watering more often, fingers crossed! 🤞
