9sI would say it wants more light. Ginseng generally do better outside imo or under very bright lights

I have a grow light on it currently

May not be strong enough light. Most grow lights on Amazon are comparable to medium light

If you want it to branch lower instead of getting long, pinch prune the new leaf buds occasionally
