Ok, so I know this may not be the right group for this because I don’t think my plant is sick/dying, but I couldn’t find a group specifically for Polka Dot Plants. Does anyone know why my plant is growing so tall? I had to put sticks in the pot to support them because it is just getting taller and taller. All the pictures I see online of polka dot plants look much shorter and more compact.

Also, before anyone says it is from lack of light, I keep her in an east facing window and on cloudy days I use a grow light. Also, I keep my room at around 65% humidity.

This is just how these guys operate. You kinda have to be constantly pruning and propping them to get them to be bushier. I see you’ve pinched it back before, judging by the split in the middle - keep that up!

It’s typically insufficient light or water when it grows etiolated. It doesn’t look like it dropped leaves, yellowed or dried out from low water. I would guess lower light than the plant wants. The plant can be in the east window and get lower light from double pane windows that are slightly tinted, bug screen, sheer curtains, partial blocking of light by trees/structure, and being away from the window sill. I would run the grow light 12 hours a day for a few months to see if it makes a difference. Clip the plant first to help it get bushy. 🪴🍀

They naturally grow leggy. I’ve cut mine down to the soil and had it grow back.
