I am entirely new to plants, so I dont really know what to do. She doesn't look very good, but I don't know if that's just how Rieger Begonias look

Check for pests! Little see through dots on the leaves, fine webbing, fuzzy white worms, tiny black or red bugs… another thing to try- make sure she’s not getting sunburnt, and also check for root rot! Smelly or squishy roots means root rot. Lastly, it could just be mechanical damage from moving her or from when she was at the store.

Looks like mechanical damage to me. For care, try not to get the leaves wet; begonias tend to have fuzzy leaves that can trap water so that it stagnates and rots. If it's hard to avoid watering the leaves, try a self-watering style pot

Begonias drove me nuts to care for; they were in a perpetual cycle of pest infestation despite all my best efforts. My partner finally goes, “one thing I learned in my dating years is that pretty ain’t worth it is she’s high maintenance.” They found themselves in the trash the next day lol
