I have a new shoot coming up but it has been stagnant for weeks now and will not grow. I water when the soil is dry and just added fertilizer to it about a week ago. The leaves have been stuck in this curled position for weeks now and won’t die or grow. Can someone please offer some advice?!

Could the pot be too big for the plant? What did the roots look like when you potted it? Might be a good idea to look at what’s going on in the soil, check for rot, and downsize to a much smaller pot if need be.

Thank you! I’ll have to pull it out of the soil and check for root rot. The pot is about 8 inches wide. It thrived for several months when I first got it tho 😭

My rubber tree plant was the same! Growth stalled and I was ready to give up, but I switched to a wayyyy smaller pot and it started thriving again. I had gotten a little over eager when I got a really pretty pot, and he just wasn’t ready for it. 🤣
