Plant doctor asap, I picked up this lavender today on sale and was wondering if it’s still alive and able to be saved? (Indoors)

Lavender is pretty resilient. But you might find a sunny spot outside that gets at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight. I picked some up at Lowe’s about 6 weeks ago that looked worse than that. It went in a pot so I could better monitor moisture and have fertilized it with liquid fertilizer. I cleaned out as many dead stems as I could without harming the healthy parts and placed the pot in my front yard flower bed (east facing) and even with the ridiculous heat we have had in Tennessee I have new foliage coming in and even a few flowers. If you don’t have a suitable outdoor location you will want a south facing window because they do need a decent amount of direct light. Good luck and let us know how it progresses!
1 mi piaceOn it ASAP, I love the clearance heather, I can get with 7-9 rudbeckias for 2.75 each or even sometimes .75 cents. if the grower doesn’t take care of the garden section , the whole yard gets thrown on sale. And it happens too often…. the garden center on our side as no good gardener and aisles end up in clearance. (I put the lavender in a sunny spot, will be pruning as we speak, Thank you super, -AH.

0 Mi piacePut the poor thing in direct sunlight all day while I spent the day pulling weeds, has a aura scent of lavender with a 4 ft radius, real strong and if you put it with a palm tree the scent of tropical. 10/10 recommend
