Help! I got this monstera a month ago, it already had a yellowing leave on bottom and some sun burns… I repotted, and it got worse so I’ve decided to look at the root and sure enough the were rotting, most of them had to go, I’ve tried repotting again in tropical soil, but again it has very little roots, should I wait to see if it grows more roots or chop it up for propagation?? I’m at a loss.

    I would probably do a combination of both, I would find one of the healthiest/newest leaves and try to propagate it while also trying to give the main plant a chance. I’m someone who tries to save plants until the very last leaf is dead so I may be biased, but I would still try!

    I would cut and prop. I’ve done that with my monstera and they do very well. They are very easy to propagate

    Also, mine was getting too much sun so move farther away from window. I had to partially close blinds by it
