Could this be sunburn? It gets direct east light from sunrise to about 1 in the afternoon. This is the side that was closest to window. It’s about 1-3 inches from window. Thanks!

  1. Sunny

That’s not sunburn. Sunburn will turn the leaves black and translucent or an ashy gray over an exposed area. It could be old leaves. It could be existing mechanical damage that caused the bends. It could be edema where cells burst to release excess water and the spots dried. I wouldn’t worry if the rest of the plant looks healthy. You can rotate the plant to see if more leaves in the East direction become affected. You can trim these leaves to let the plant send the energy to growing new leaves.
