So many tiny ants in my garden bed! Climbing and I think eating my veg plant leaves. Should I be worried? Will this lead to a big a problem? If so, how do I handle this? :(

You’d want to check over your plants thoroughly for aphids, mealy bugs or other pests. The ants are looking for, or have found a source of food which is the honeydew secreted by sap sucking insects. You can use something like insecticidal soap or diatomaceous earth if you find it hard to control but sometimes all that is needed is a hard spray of water to the fruits, leaves and stems of the plant.

Ants can use aphids to create honeydew. So they will move aphids around and harvest their sap (like milking cows and putting them in certain fields). So keep an eye on new growth points and under the leaves
