Help! I got this fiddle leaf about two weeks ago and it looked great (first pic). We got home from vacation and I noticed browning of most of the leaves and this little cluster of small brown things - spider mites maybe? Anyone have any idea if that’s the pest I’m dealing with? And if there’s any hope at salvaging the plant since most leaves have some extent of browning.

I was going to say maybe it's shock from moving locations, as fiddle leaf figs are very fussy, and that probably is part of it, but definitely watch for pests. i can't tell you exactly what that is just from eggs, but treat it with neem oil and hydrogen peroxide (look up a video! don't just use straight peroxide on the leaves!!!) and see if anything changes. praying that it isn't a pest and your fiddle leaf is just being fussy as per usual

Might be sunburn and have a fungus but also could be pests

I have one of these. What I learned was I had watered it to often and did not let it dry out and when I had it to close to the sunny window and it burnt the leaves. So I had to pull it out of direct sunlight and water it when I felt the soil was drier. It’s doing great! But those leaves are still there and don’t recover.
