Are there any tiny webbing anywhere that you can see if you flash a flashlight on it?

i can’t see any webbing or i would be sure they were spider mites!

That’s good! Yeah I’d go with what everyone else so accurately put and try those methods, some pests just won’t go away with traditional methods lol

Are they aphids? Can you see legs? Aphids like to chew on the newest tender leaves

I got rid of the aphids on the small hoya in the picture with insecticidal spray (Raid) after trying several other methods. I got rid of aphids on two larger hoyas by dunking them under water made from Dawn dishwashing soap. I kept both the soil and plants completely submerged in the bucket over an hour to be sure everything died.

Definitely agree with trying this method ā¬†ļø I’ve soaked the soil of mine in hydrogen peroxide and water for half an hour to kill larvae and help with any possible root damage from pests, then rinsed it over with water and placed it back in the pot. There’s lot of other methods to help fight pests too, like drops of peppermint oil into a spray bottle of water, chopped garlic cloves into water, and of course, apple cider vinegar, water, and dish soap. Hope at least one of the methods everyone here’s suggested helps! Good luck!

I do believe I’m seeing legs if i look close enough.. I was thinking they were aphids but wasn’t as confident in myself. I’m only ever finding them on the newest leaves as well. I will have to go and do a bath for them but should i wait until the soil is dry and spray with raid until then?

I used Raid as the last option. It won’t kill the ones in the soil. Try the other methods, first.

Have you tried changing the soil? Often fresh soil really helps get rid of any eggs that are hard to see

I haven’t yet because this Mollys Aroid is so expensive but I will if it’ll help!

I definitely think they are spider mites. I have an elephant ear that didn’t have webs for a while until it got really bad.

my thinking of spider mites is that these seem way too small to be aphids :(

Check my photo above. The tiny white dust specks on the lower leaves have legs. They are juvenile aphids. Aphids can be extremely small.
