Help!! Looks like different stages of mealy bugs - please confirm!! Should I use rubbing alcohol or neem oil to get rid of them?? Plant is a pumpkin plant, succulent I believe.

    Yep! Definite mealies, treat with rubbing alcohol only and try and get all of them. If all else fails, pour rubbing alcohol into a large enough bowl to fully dunk your plant in. Beware, these suckers can also find their way under the soil and make nests there

    I have switched to insecticidal soap. But still do the swab and alcohol first. You are not done at that point. You need to keep looking and spraying for a few weeks. I usually spray every three days for three weeks.
