Why are my new Monstera leaves growing with damage on them? They are indoor and I see no visible pests!

    This plant may need some moisture to help it unravel seamlessly. Try spraying it or adding a a humidifier near by.

    Sometimes they just get stuck unfurling or they were brushed up against while just getting started. Sometimes a pest (spider or other) chewed on it. If you don’t see any other pest signs, then don’t worry about it.

    looks like mechanical damage, probably nothing to worry about. with smaller bushy monstera plants with lots of leaves they can weave (yours have done here) and damage each other with their growth movements
