Depends on the bug tbh. Mealybugs I'd unpot the plants and soak it in a hydrogen peroxide/alcohol/water solution if you suspect it to colonize the roots, scale id use the rubbing alcohol straight to the bugs as long as it's not a sensitive plants, gnats I'd just use a sticky tape near the plants for, and spider mites and thrips I'd just clean the plant. Good luck if you have thrips though🧍🏽♂️ thrips are scary
1 gillaI think i havw gnats and mealybugs
1 gillaId definitely reach for some hydrogen peroxide or alcohol! Whichever is closer. I've had experience with mealys and the best way to go is to take a q tip filled with alcohol to the bugs and the crevices because they love any nook or cranny. I hope they haven't gone to the roots, it's not common but it can happen!
0 gillningarDefinitely not thrips. Eww🤢
1 gillaNot all bug sprays work on all bugs. Like if what you're using is Neem based, it won't really do anything for mealybugs. Fungas gnats you can use micro biolift, or just hydrogen peroxide
