i have been trying to propagate my neon pothos and the part i have cut and stuck in water won’t grow roots and it’s been in there for about two weeks. does anyone have any ideas on how to get it to start growing roots?

How much light is it getting and how frequently do you change the water? I don’t have much experience with pothos but if it’s any consolation it took me two months to get roots out of English ivy or monstera deliciosa cuttings.
1 j'aimeit gets a full 9 hours of sunlight and i change the water once a week
0 J'aimeDon’t change the water as often, probably is shocking it, just top it off when it gets low. Also, two weeks is pretty short for a cutting to sprout roots, give it time, took mine three months to grow enough roots to pot up
1 j'aimeokay thank you!!
1 j'aimeSome plants grow slowly. I use Prop Drops or another type of rooting product to encourage root growth. And i use DI water in my water prop station. But even then I'll have some plants take up to a month or so to get long enough roots to plant.
1 j'aimeIs there for sure a node on it?
2 J'aimei cut it just before the node
0 J'aimePerfect! Just wait and see then🙂
1 j'aimeYou want to put the node in the water. That's how the roots grow sweets.
