Just got a rosemary plant over Christmas and repotted it when I got home before NYE. South facing window and well draining soil but for some reason an entire side is withering which used to face the sun. I was under the impression rosemary loves light and was surprised to find it like this. Any ideas on what it needs? Soil is moist so I’m not watering.

Rosemary does love light but it needs full direct sun. Once the chance of frost has passed it can be moved outside. But till then water sparingly and keep in the brightest spot indoors.

It could have gotten too much sun too quickly. Especially if you got it from a grocery store or a big box store where it was only getting artificial light

So I’ll trim back the pieces that died and moved it so that the sun isn’t as harsh but it will still receive bright indirect until it’s taken a bit more to the pot. Any other suggestions are helpful thanks!
