My snake plant has been doing so good. It’s been producing little babies and beautiful variegation. That’s why I’m so confused by the drooping leaves. I’ve definitely not over fertilized it (haven’t fertilized it ever), I give it enough sunlight, and I only water it when it’s completely dry all the way down to the bottom of the soil. And it’s only the leaves from the mother plant that are doing that. The baby snake plants are completely fine except for weird creasing of the leaves. I also saw strands of webs so that can’t be good. Edit: I just placed a wooden skewer into the pot and pushed it down to the very bottom. After a min or two I took it out…it was completely dry. I got a second opinion (Aka another wooden skewer) and I was also really dry. That’s very weird since I watered it TWO DAYS AGO.

Yeah looks as though it sucked up all that water quickly and it was too quick… not sure why though

The leaves look all wrinkly, like it’s thirsty. Maybe try bottom watering it, like, dunk it in a bin of water and leave it for a while, then take it out again and see what happens. You may need to change the medium if it’s drying too fast. And if you see webbing I would check for mealy bugs, spider mites, or that sort of thing. My snake plants have done this wrinkly droopy thing before, and I found out they weren’t able to absorb the water long enough before it dried up. I switched medium to something a bit more absorbent, but not too much, and they went nuts! Look a million times better, I’ll attach some before and after photos. But long story short, I would get that baby in a bath and let it soak back up some water!

What medium (mix) do you use?

Just a really fluffy kind with bark. It’s kinda orange. But I just repotted it since it was rootbound and that was why it was so thirsty.

Might also want to consider fresh soil if you haven't changed that in a long time. The soil could be too hydrophobic.

is it planted in a peat-based all purpose potting mix? that’s what it looks like in the photo. if you didn’t fully saturate the soil it’ll dry out really fast due to the hydrophobic nature of bone dry peat fibers. i would suggest placing the whole pot in a bucket or similar vessel full of water and let it sit at least until the soil stops bubbling, 15 minutes or so. this will make sure the entirety of the media in the pot is soaked so your snake plant will have plenty to drink

You might not be saturating the soil enough when watering. When a plant is ready to be watered, you should water it deeply. I second the suggestion of bottom watering it and letting it soak up everything it needs. Let it sit until the top of the soil is moist.
