I was checking up on my jade plant that I’ve had for like 2 years just now and I found a bunch of this little greenish white stuff in the soil. Can someone tell we what it is? Fungus, bugs… should I be worried?

To me it looks like styrofoam or fungus. I’ve had plants from big box shops that have styrofoam in the soil instead of perlite, and it looks like this.

This looks like the beginnings of a harmless fungus. I forget what it’s called but it’s no big. Sprinkle some cinnamon on the soil
