Hi again, my peace lily has been seeming a little sad and smaller than it was and idk why 😭 also, there’s these little white spots all over the surface of the soil and idk what it is. Is it mold?First pic is it now, second is my soil, last is what it was about a month ago when I repotted it bc the same thing was happening to the soil. Thanks much ❤️

    Does the pot have drainage? Because if it does maybe try porting a ton of water on it and waiting till it drains from the drainage holes. If it doesn’t I would repot to a high drainage soil mix and a pot with drainage holes (they are very important for peace lilys bc they love water). Hope this helps!!!

      There’s one drainage hole big enough to put my thumb through, and a layer of rocks over it so the soil doesn’t fall out. I’ll try pouring a lot of water on

    Too much calcium or salts in your water? Do you have very hard water, or sodium-softened water?

      I think we might. I do use our filtered water but that might not help or be working. We have a water cooler, I might try to use that water instead and see if it helps, if our sink filter is bad

    There’s also 2 big 1 small leaf with big crispy brown spots and most leaves have brown tips, any advice? In the past I used to kill any plant I tried to keep but I’ve been doing pretty good recently keeping 5 and I’m trying to help all them the best I can but there’s been a few problems 😭

      I also add a drop of water conditioner to my water. The one I use is for aquariums but it works great for my plants. You only need like a drop for a gallon so it lasts forever. This is what I’ve been using.

    I’ve had a similar problem before. It looks like the pot is too big. It’s not able to use all of the water in the extra soil fast enough. Even though they like water, too much soil (especially with too little light) will gradually kill them off. She’s also listed as being very far from a window so it may be too little light as well. Mine is right in a Northeast facing window and is doing really well. She gets some early morning direct light and then a bunch of indirect light. She needs enough light if you want her to continue flowering after the initial rush of flowers from the store. The one that had the same problem was repotted in a much smaller pot that fit her root ball. We also gave her a soil mix with extra amendments so it would drain much faster (because she’s kept in a very low light area). We also put her to the side of a grow light. She started flowering again for the first time in years. She’s now putting out much larger leaves, as well.

      Thank you so much! I’ll give her a smaller pot and try to find a sunnier spot for her
