Help!!! I repotted my ficus tree recently because her leaves were turning yellow. Since repotting the yellow leaves have come back - 6 today alone! Nothing else has changed. What do I do?

there’s alot of possibilities, it could just be experiencing shock, when you repotted did you check for root rot?

I think I should check for it but worry it will shock it more :(

Take this advice with a grain of salt but I believe that ficuses are super sensitive to changes. They hate being moved to different environments so if you’ve been doing that it might be it. I will say that mine just dropped leaves they didn’t really turn too yellow first. I’d check the leaves for pests just in case.

I have a 5 foot ficus that's indoors and it's always dropping leaves here and there. I tell myself it's just the normal lifecycle of the leaves. 😬. Other than that, it looks perfectly healthy. But I also believe they are very sensitive to change, when I repotted mine a couple of years ago it did lose more leaves than normal. Just give it time and talk sweetly to it. 😆

I would leave it alone for a while myself and give it time to adjust to the repotting. It’s probably just in shock right now. However, I would check and make sure you potted it deep enough and all roots are covered. Your problem could shift simply by just topping it off with more potting soil. Good luck

Help! She’s dropping 3-5 leaves per day now! The only factors that have changed recently are repotting, but I checked for root rot and there is none. I don’t think it’s bugs. Do you think the soil is bad?
