Hi! Any tips on what could be happening to this Montserrat constellation? I have given it as a present to my grandmother and she sent me these photos to ask what might be happening to it. Thank you!

I’m having the same issue with mine! Didn’t happen until I brought her in from porch at summer’s end.

2 J'aimeLooks like mine (mine is much worse though). It’s most likely too cold, is it near a window or drafty area. I just got mine recently shipped to me so her leaves are also pretty crispy.
0 J'aimeCentral heating dries out the air, but many houseplants are tropical and need high humidity, leading to crispy leaf edges/tips.
2 J'aimeIf the brown is crispy it probably just needs more humidity. If it’s soft it could potentially be root rot so it may need to be taken out of the pot and roots checked out. Rot is obvious to see. Roots falling apart and mushy, brown and a funky smell. Orange roots are fine as long as they are stiff when you squeeze. You’ll use sanitized scissors or shears to snip the dead away. Spray down all the roots with 3% hydrogen peroxide and don’t rinse it, just let it dry and give it some new soil. Monsteras love a CHONKY mix so I do a 2:1:1 ratio of tropical soil, perlite, and orchid bark. You can get a mini humidifier from the dollar store or a DAISO if you have one near you and just set it up next to the plant. You won’t be able to reverse the brown but it will prevent new leaves from having brown tips.
