Not sure what is happening… is this a sign of over or under watering?… | Pests, diseases and problems | Planta-fællesskab

Not sure what is happening… is this a sign of over or under watering? They were put out in maybe a bit too much sun a few weeks ago but then took them inside for indirect light and soil seems moist/hydrated again (after a period of not watering enough). But it’s still getting worst 😞

It’s possible that moving them outside and then inside too quickly shocked the plant. I think it’s often advised to shift lighting more gradually.

Right - I mean that the move outside from inside might have been too quick. Just a guess though! Very plant dependent

This is the second year of my calla lilies growing outside and it’s the only place I’ve grown them. The older leaves die off sometimes and the old flowers close up and dry up like that. The rest of the year they just have the pretty foliage. I don’t have the speckled one like you, that’s so pretty.😊

Honestly I think they look great 😊 What is concerning you? If it’s the dead leaf and drying out flowers, then it’s just fine and you can put it back outside where it was happy.😊
